What is a Board of Trustees?

Every charity has a Board of Trustees who take overall responsibility for a charity’s work.

For Carefree, the trustees have to make sure that it’s well run and working in the best interested of young people in and leaving care in Cornwall. This includes overseeing and support decision making around finances and strategy.

Employees and young people are welcome to attend Carefree Board Meetings to find out more about how the organisation is run.
