YEP! Youth Engagement Project

YEP! Is the new Youth Engagement Project for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly supporting Young People to take their next steps towards employment, education or training.

We can support young people with care experience who are:

At Carefree Cornwall, we have two excellent workers, Laura and Liam, who will meet with the young people, spend time getting to know them and provide careers information, advice and guidance, and much more depending on the young person’s individual needs. While this work is mainly 1:1, we can also offer some small group sessions, accreditation, workplace skills and links to other Carefree activities and Local Offers.

The workers will help the young person decide what they would like to do and then help them access this. The programme will help build confidence, resilience and competence and help care experienced young people to have a good life.
