What do you like about working at Carefree?

I really enjoy face to face work with young people and seeing how the young people I work with develop their skills to make positive life choices to enable them to successfully live independently. 

I enjoy the opportunity to really get to know the person I am working with and offer the support and guidance that is individual to that young person and the challenges they have been through and continue to face. 

I enjoy working as part of a very supportive team, that put the young person at the centre of their work and enabling young people to have a voice. We all have a verity of skills we can tap into making it a very knowledgeable and experienced team.  

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

I have worked with Care Leavers for nearly 20 years, I have a Community and Youth Work Degree and have attended lots of training over the years relevant to working in the 16+ Service.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy spending time with my three children. I ride my horses and I like to run. I also have dogs and enjoying growing plants and veg in my garden.
