What do you do at Carefree? 

My job title is People & Contracts Manager. I am responsible for managing our Contracts, Admin & HR and also support the finance team where required. I work closely with Carefree’s Leadership Team to make strategic decisions about the organisation.

What do you like about working at Carefree? 

There are so many positives to working at Carefree. My favourite thing is that I get the chance to work for an organisation that is making a difference. I am also very grateful to work in a team full of so many wonderful, supportive people who are passionate about the work they do. 

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

I have a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting with the AAT. I have also recently completed a Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with the CIPD. 

My experience mostly lies in retail and charity finance. I have worked with a number of local charities and CICs providing support to their administrative and finance teams. I have been working with Carefree for over 10 years and have been fortunate enough to grow as a professional in this amazing organisation.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? 

I have two young children and a little dog who fill up my non-working time. I enjoy taking them out for long walks around the Cornish countryside and beaches. I love music, reading, dancing and keeping active. I have also recently learned to swim (I know- shockingly late for someone who grew up in Cornwall!).
