What do you do at Carefree?

I am a CIAG Key Worker, helping young people to achieve their goals in their education, training or employment.

What do you like about working at Carefree?

Carefree is a supportive and caring working environment where everyone is respected. I enjoy working with a team with a range of backgrounds and skills which come together to help young people.

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

Before I came to Carefree I used to work as an ecologist and have done many a job during my career, from donkey care assistant to bookseller. But after trying out plenty of roles I have realised that my passion is for helping people and so I am now training to be a person-centred counsellor and am completing my diploma alongside my work at Carefree.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? 

I love walking my rescue dog, Dotty, cooking new recipes, gardening (especially planting spring bulbs) and doing crafts.
