What do you do at Carefree?

I provide career guidance and support to young people age 16 to 24 in my role as a Skills Your Way Keyworker. I advise on education, training and employment options and work alongside the young people to help them overcome barriers and support them towards achieving their goals.

What do you like about working at Carefree?

Working with brilliant young people and a great team!

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

I have a degree in English and Sociology and after graduating I did some work on information resources for a careers organisation. I then worked for the council, providing housing advice and working to prevent homelessness. I later moved on to become a Personal Adviser for 16+ Team before moving over to the Careers Information, Advice and Guidance Team at Carefree. I’m now working towards a level 6 diploma in Career Guidance and Development.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love swimming, long walks, the coast and reading a good book!
