What do you do at Carefree? 

I am a Senior 16+ Personal Advisor and Trainee Social Worker. 

What do you like about working at Carefree? 

I love being part of what all of Carefree offers to children and young people. I love that being part of Carefree feels like family and that I meet so many amazing young people who often become familiar faces over time. 

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications? 

I completed a degree in Health and Social Care in 2012 and have been working as a PA ever since. I am currently training as a Social Worker through the Open University alongside my role as a PA. My background before this was working with Adults who have learning disabilities in a residential setting. It took me till the age of 35 to get my GCSE Maths qualification which shows its never too late to achieve this!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?  

When I am not at work or studying, I enjoy spending time with my 3 children being a mum which keeps me very busy! At weekends I enjoy going for walks and exploring the local beaches and woodlands. When I get the time to relax, I love to read a good book or watch a new series on Netflix!
