What do you do at Carefree?

I’ve worked for Carefree for over 4 years and I focus on coordinating the arts and culture activities. I also deliver the Arts Leader training programme and I’m an Arts Award advisor.

What do you like about working at Carefree?

The best thing is getting to hang-out and work with amazing young people each week of course! I also really like working in partnership with other arts organisations and professional art makers.

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

I am a trained professional singer and have a music degree. I hold a trauma informed schools diploma. I have been working in the arts education and community sector for 12 years.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Playing the piano and singing, DIY, visiting cultural spaces and live theatre/music, sea swimming and gig rowing! I also love walking in the countryside and growing things in my garden, I find both are great for my mental health and wellbeing.
