Have your say
At Carefree, we want as many people as possible with care experience to share their views and opinions regarding the services they have received. Young people frequently work together to explore how to make things better, and when ready with Social Care and other partners, to improve the care received by all those who are care experienced.
This is an opportunity for young people to get together, have fun and give back to others in this ‘exceptional’ (Ofsted 2019) participation work led by Carefree young people.

Activities include-
- Campaigning for change
- Training professionals such as Social Workers and Foster Carers and others that work with care experienced people
- Interviewing people for jobs that make a difference
- Planning a variety of events for young people and professionals
- Attending national forums to improve the care service for the whole UK
- Skills training to influence change
- Eating food and making friends!
